Plan for the unknowns
Clear answers before travel day
The questions passengers actually ask, answered plainly.
- When does the service start?
- The first bus leaves on 15 November. You can book any departure from that day onwards right now — the seat is yours from the moment you pay.
- How much luggage can I bring?
- A large-luggage ticket covers one checked suitcase plus a cabin item per passenger. A cabin-only ticket covers one cabin bag or backpack. More than that needs a second ticket or an agreement in advance.
- What happens if my flight is delayed?
- Give us your flight number when you book. We cannot hold a departure for one passenger, but with the flight number we can tell a late arrival from a no-show and discuss the options with you.
- Can I change or cancel my booking?
- Not on the website yet. Write to us with your booking code and we will tell you what applies to your booking.
- Where exactly do I meet the shuttle?
- At the airport, the marked pick-up bay outside arrivals at Terminal 2B — look for the AirportLux sign. In the city, 1075 Budapest, Rumbach Sebestyén utca 8.
- How long does the journey take?
- Around forty-five minutes in normal traffic. Morning and late-afternoon peaks are slower; the departure time is fixed, the journey time is not a promise.
- Is the shuttle accessible?
- The vehicle has a step entrance and is not wheelchair accessible without assistance. Write to us before booking so we can tell you honestly whether we can carry you comfortably.
- Do children need their own ticket?
- Yes. A child occupies a seat, so a child counts as a passenger.
- Why do the two seat numbers not add up?
- Because the quotas overlap: a cabin passenger can take a large-luggage place when the cabin quota is full. Adding the two numbers would produce a figure that does not exist.
